BirthDance

I experienced orgasmic labor/birth with all of my children: with my first child my orgasmic birth was an overwhelming surprise; with my second child I joyously reveled in it; with my third, I eagerly awaited it! Each of my births, and the energy surrounding them, were unique, exquisite, intense, and beautiful. The only common thread among them was my mind and heart being open to the ecstasy of the birthdance and a willingness to follow that dance wherever it would lead me. By believing in the sacred, sexual, sensual, euphoric and private nature of birth, and believing it should be honored, respected and approached with the same kindness, love, trust, and privacy as is the lovemaking that created the babe within, I felt safe to birthdance the orgasmic pleasure/pain crescendo that defined the births of my children.
